Beta terms

AIGIS Workbench beta license.

>_ last_updated....July 2026 · applies to approved beta testers

These terms cover your access to and use of the AIGIS Workbench beta. By requesting access, accepting the GitHub invitation, or installing a beta build, you agree to them. They are specific to the beta and sit alongside the general AIGIS Terms.

Plain-English summary. The beta is licensed to you, personally, for evaluation only. Do not share it, do not redistribute the installer, and do not pass on your access. It is unsigned, pre-release software with no warranty.

1. Evaluation license

AIGIS grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the AIGIS Workbench beta for the sole purpose of evaluation and testing. AIGIS retains all rights, title, and interest in the software.

2. No redistribution

You may not, in whole or in part:

  • Share, distribute, resell, sublicense, lend, or rent the installer or any beta build.
  • Re-upload the installer to any public or private location, mirror, drive, chat, or package repository.
  • Publish direct download links, or post the file where others can obtain it.
  • Share your beta access, GitHub invitation, license key, or credentials with anyone else.

If someone else wants the beta, send them to the official downloads page to request their own access. Share the link, never the file.

3. Access is per-tester and revocable

Access is granted to approved individuals. AIGIS may add, decline, suspend, or revoke access at any time, and beta builds may be time-limited and stop working after the beta period. Builds and access may be traceable to the tester they were issued to.

4. Unsigned beta

This first beta is not code-signed. Windows may show an unrecognized app warning. Only install a build you obtained from the official AIGIS beta release page after approval, and verify the published SHA-256 checksum first. Signing and notarization are planned for after the beta.

5. No warranty; not for production

The beta is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. It is pre-release software that may be incomplete, unstable, or change between builds. Do not rely on it for production, safety-critical, or irreversible work. To the extent permitted by law, AIGIS is not liable for any loss arising from beta use.

6. Bring your own provider

AIGIS Workbench does not include third-party AI model usage. You are responsible for any provider accounts, subscriptions, API usage, limits, and costs from the AI provider you choose.

7. Feedback

If you send feedback, bug reports, or suggestions, you grant AIGIS permission to use them to improve the product without obligation to you.

8. Changes

These terms may be updated as the beta evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date.
